Justin made a quick, unexpected visit home this weekend, and brought me a present - wireless headphones! He is getting some new ones, and thought I might enjoy his old ones. He knew they weren't something I would purchase for myself, and thought they would be a great way to listen to audiobooks. And he is right!
It's a chilly, rainy day in MD, and I have the pleasure of listening to some good books with my new headphones, along with tea and knitting. These delightful headphones make listening a wonderful immersive experience, and a practically perfect Monday. Thanks, Justin!

ReplyDeleteturns out to be a great day even though it is rainy, wet, and well, Monday! I have a pair of wirless headphones for watching TV, but I don't own any for audio books. Perhaps I would like audio books better if I could be more mobile? What a thoughtful son Justin is! I hope this is a hallmark of a great week, Bonny.

ReplyDeleteWOW! isn't it great when our kids hand-me-downs excite us?! Looks like you found the perfect way to enjoy a rainy day. I don't want to wish rain here, but I'd kind of love a day to sit with a book and some knitting. (and maybe Marc would hand-me-down his headphones ;-)

DeleteWhat a lovely surprise! I have some "fancy" headphones that I got free with my new laptop, but so far I haven't used them wirelessly. I probably should figure out how to do that so I can listen to things while I'm moving around.

ReplyDeleteHow fabulous! I think I'd be distracted by how wonderful my music sounded through immersive headphones. It would certainly be better than constantly (and accidentally) pulling the cord from my ear. Justin is a great kid!
