Three on Thursday

Joining Kat and Carole for Three on Thursday, and today it's with three random things.

1.  I grabbed a random Diet Coke in the Philadelphia airport before I took off. I was inordinately surprised when I discovered that Justin was accompanying me to CO, and Justin was equally impressed when I texted him the photo.

2.  "What is this strange young man doing?" you might ask. Testing pillows on the floor of Bed, Bath, and Beyond, of course. (He didn't find one that met his standards of comfort, possibly because he was testing them on the floor of Bed, Bath, and Beyond.)

3.  I miss this spot. It's the recliner in Ryan's living room, and the perfect knitting chair. It's much more comfortable than my own knitting chair here at home, and I have already informed John that I am getting one just like it for our new house in MD.

Head on over here to read more Three on Thursday posts.

  2. This is cool; I just bought a chair like that one to knit in. It won't be here for six weeks (!) but I am glad to know it's as comfortable for knitting as I though it would be. Hope you find one too.

    1. As far as I'm concerned, it is the perfect knitting chair and perfectly comfortable! I do hope yours doesn't take six weeks and arrives much sooner (like next week)!

  4. LOL - pillow testing - such a fun photo. I bet I could sleep in that chair too (and sometimes I do get sleepy knitting or reading for sure). Fun randomness Bonny!!

  5. Oh yes! That chair will make a just reward for having to make the move! Life is full of fun and serendipitous happening, like the Coke bottle. I love when that happens!

  7. I've been searching for new pillows, but haven't tried them out on the floor! You should get that chair!

  8. I am guessing that the floor would CERTAINLY skew the pillow comfort results. LOL

  9. ha! I love the contrast of the most comfortable chair (it looks good, too!) with that HARD floor on BBB :-)

  10. Too bad BB&B doesn't have any... BEDS! :)

I am thinking that perhaps I need a new knitting chair... that my current hand-me-down recliner is not helping ergonomics/posture. That one looks very comfy (and Match & Move looks right at home).

    1. There will definitely be a chair like that in the MD house. It will be my reward for all the house-hunting hassles!

  12. Comfortable chairs are a must! Before leaving PA, I ordered a great swivel rocker from my favorite Amish furniture shop in Lancaster that is destined to be a great knitting & reading chair.

  13. It is so difficult to find a comfortable chair, so you must get it. I just bought a new chair, and it was the most comfortable one I could find, but it is a little deep for me. I am currently on the hunt for another large pillow to make it fit me better. The pillow issue is a problem for me as well. I have been sleeping on a millet pillow for a few years. It is the best one I can use for my chronic neck issues. What's up with the Coke? Were they selling them with random names on them? You are drawn to Justin, even when he is on a pop bottle - LOL.

  14. I don't understand about the soda. I live in the Philadelphia area and haven't seen anything like that before.
