Sometimes Monday ...

... you are lucky enough to have a couple of early Christmas cactus blossoms,

along with a bunch of buds waiting to burst forth with more color.

I hope your week is off to a beautiful start!

  1. How pretty! I was excited to see buds on two of my Christmas cacti over the weekend...hopefully it will not be too long. BTW, I spotted "Knight Owl" on your bookshelf - my SIL gave that book to Iris (along with a stuffed owl). We've read it several times - it's a great book!

  7. I re-potted mine a few weeks ago and I have buds now. So excited. I usually end up buying a new one every year as I do not have a green thumb. Had 3 last year and down to one.

  8. WEll, that's encouraging and beautiful! I was just thinking that I need to feed my cactus. I would love it to bloom this holiday season. Maybe I will repot it. Last time I did that it took off beautifully. Perhaps it is a good sign for a lovely week.
