Three on Thursday

I'm joining Carole and friends for Three on Thursday, today with three weird things. I was grocery shopping at our local Walmart, so perhaps I should not have been surprised to see odd things there.

My butt probably needs smoothing and toning, but it may be well past any help that a sheet mask can provide.

I might prefer boneless goat cubes, but their goats roam free on native pastures and rangelands. I don't think I've ever eaten goat, but I looked up recipes and curried goat stew gets some high ratings. I might try it someday and see if John can guess what he's eating.

This glow-in-the-dark duck (duct?) tape struck me as a little strange at first, but on second thought it might be useful. In fact, the next time I'm at Walmart, I might even get some to put in John's stocking. Then I could use some on our flashlights and my bright yellow walking vest so I can be seen.

Since the last one wasn't too weird, I've included a bonus. I'm not a pet owner, but Petchup and Muttstard definitely sound strange to me. Do you think these condiments are meant to be used on dogs' food? Human food that you're feeding to your dog? Is there a reason that dogs can't have regular ketchup and mustard? Inquiring minds want to know!

Be sure to visit Carole for more Three on Thursday thoughts.

  3. Those are some oddities - don’t think I will rush out to purchase any of them

  4. I am "howling" at these! LOL (And, I think ketchup has onion in it - which is not safe for dogs to eat)

  5. You DO need the Ducktape. Their special colors are highly collectable and useful! You've got the right idea for using it. The Muttstard and Petchup? NO WAY!

  6. I think that Butt Mask wins the prize for sure - too funny. That would be a great gag gift for someone. I bet the got cubes are ok (I've eaten so many different meats, I'd be willing to try)...but I'll admit I don't think it's carried in any of the stores near me.

  7. Soooooooooooooooooo, you put the butt mask on and do what????? Stand around for 30 minutes???? Ain't got NO time for THAT! LOL

Ketchup and mustard sometimes have spices that pets should not have. On the other hand, my cat drinks out of the toilet. His tastes are probably not refined enough to require pet condiments.

  8. Well, I thought I had seen everything that was over the top that had anything to do with beauty products, but how ridiculous is that??? I wonder if there are any reviews for that product - LOL. The pet products are just a riff off the gravy that is sold for pet food, I think. People buy it to seduce their dogs into eating dry dog food. I think the duck tape would be very useful to have around. Too funny, Bonny, I love this post.

  11. Oh wow. Maybe I need to shop/browse at Walmart just for some laughs!!

We had a farmers market vendor for many years who sold goat meat in various cuts and it's tasty!

  13. The last two products just go to show that some folk don’t have anything to spend their $$$ on, me thinks!
    Fun post!
    Cheers~
