Three Thoughts on Thursday

Joining Kat and Carole for Three on Thursday.

Some day I'm going to actually knit one of these medals.  © elf518

1.  We did it! Congratulations to everyone who made it through 30 days of posting. It's always nice to set a goal, and accomplish it (even though on some days this one was tough going)!

2.  You did it! You are the ones who chose to use your valuable time to read and comment. I realize this is a big deal (especially because there is so much to read during NaBloPoMo!), and I feel honored and grateful for all of you who take the time to read. Thank you!

3.  I am very glad it's done! Happy December!

Head on over here to read more Three on Thursday posts.

  1. It has been a pleasure to read your posts, Bonny. Thank you!
(And I wish I had the time to knit all of us medals. But I don't. So it will just be a virtual thing.) (But it would be fun, non?)

  2. I've enjoyed this month, as I love having blog posts to read! Admittedly there were days when I had to really give some thought to posting, but for the most part, I liked the challenge. Apparently, you did too. :-)

    1. I started blogging several years ago to mark some big changes in my life, but never expected anybody to read my ramblings. Even though I write mainly for myself, it makes a huge difference to know that there are others out there, reading, commenting, and discussing. Thank you very much!

  6. It has been a pleasure to read everybody's postings. I admire your fortitude and creativity, the poems, the photos, . . . gosh, just about everything though especially the friendliness and the compadre among the writers!
I haven't been able to comment on many of them, computer challenges unfortunately, but believe me that I’ve read a lot of them and wish to continue. Thanks to all.

  11. NaBloPoMo has been an accomplishment for ALL of us on so many levels. Thank you for your comments and encouragement. Wouldn't it be fun to get together in the same room and knit each other medals!? Why not dream. Thank you so much, Bonny, for a great month of blogging fun.

  12. Oh, Bonny, I appreciate all your posts so much, and I know it is a lot of work. So, thank you for all that work, and thank you for the entertainment and thought provoking discussions. Now, I will have to use the upcoming holidays for a diversion from you-know-what, and then when the holidays are over, my head will probably explode when I don't have a diversion. For example, it was really nice to get this email instead of reading the news of the latest fiasco! I love that medal, you really deserve one for this month.

    1. I can't thank you enough, Becky, for taking time to read and comment daily! I know that is a lot of work on your part, and I greatly appreciate it! There were some days that I struggled to find something to say, but knowing you were reading diligently made me search a little harder for something to write about (and that is a good thing). I even managed to come up with a post for tomorrow (but no more Saturday and Sunday). Did you ever think about blogging yourself? I would read your posts! Thanks again!

    2. I would love to blog, but I really just do not have the time. My husband is very disabled, and I am his only caretaker, so I really need to keep my personal commitments low in number. Thanks for the encouragement, Bonny!
