Sky Watcher

I've been trying to time our walk so we're at the top of the hill in the cemetery when the sun sets. Here are two of my favorites from this past week.

Since we've lost about four minutes of daylight this week and the same next week, I'm not sure I can be in the right place at the right time to capture too many more sunsets.

  1. Beautiful, Bonny! The first photo has strong perspective. I can almost see the darker clouds moving across the sky.

  2. Beautiful, Bonny! But, these shortening days really make photo taking a challenge!

  3. Beautiful pictures, Bonny. Yes, we are losing the light so quickly, but just another month, and it will be returning!

    1. Now that's the right way to look at it! The Winter Solstice always feels like a day of anticipation and celebration for the return of the light.

  4. Those are just gorgeous shots, Bonny! I always look forward to the Solstice and the return of the light (even though it doesn't feel much different at first, it's good to know we're almost at the turn-around point!) XO

  6. It's always startling to realize how quickly the daylight fades at this time of the year! Beautiful photos.
