Monday, After a Dark Weekend

Hate, horror, threats, bombs
Right-wing, reckoning, evil
Do not kill us all

Sitting here knitting
I know there is just one side
Peace, hope, love, prayer

  1. Maybe everyone needs to knit! A lot of folks sure don't seem to understand the value of inner and outer peace.

    1. I think you're right; the world would be a much better place if more people knit. How wonderful it would be if people just wanted to knit one more row (and didn't have time for hate and bigotry).

  2. Yes, if everyone would pick up knitting, it would be a more peaceful place. What horrible news. Again.....

    1. Thank you; that is one of the nicest compliments I've received and thank goodness for readers like you! I was wondering if North Korea and Charlottesville were bigger than the crises EZ was referring to, but then I remembered she went through WWII, so she surely knew what she was talking about. Knit on!

  9. I went to a class today about chakras. Trump's actions and demeanors exhibit examples for EVERY SINGLE ONE of the seven core chakras being out of balance. Sad and scary ... but a wonderful tool to help me understand the concepts! (how's that for finding a bright side?!?)
