Safe!

One lily burst into blossom yesterday before the deer could nibble it ...

Four more buds to go!

  1. beautiful! Our deer love to eat our front bushes but they are doing a crummy job of trimming them evenly.

  2. It may be safe, but some of those petals were nibbled...probably when they were in the bud.

The deer usually get the ones that at are at the front of our lot, away from the house. But the ones in the patio garden are behind a gate and are safe. No blooms yet here.

  5. I saw a beautiful purple lily on my plant a couple weeks ago. Snapped a photo of it - and about a day later, the flower and all the buds on the others were gone - eaten by the deer!

  6. Beautiful bloom. I love stargazers, but if I bring them in the house, they give me a headache. I hope the others make it!
