Bravo to you! Voting by mail is such a fantastic way to vote! I do the same here in PA, although this year I am circumventing the Post Office... I will take my ballot to an official drop box.
Hooray for you! I have been struggling with motivation to vote for a few years in this deeply red state that I live in. I feel like my vote really doesn't matter much, but nevertheless I vote, hoping the tide will turn. It's a privilege to be able to vote.
Our primary isn't until August . . . but we do have a special election on May 5. You can bet I'll be voting (and delivering my ballot to the very convenient official drop box). I'll also be working on election day. Because damnit . . . I'm doing my part to keep elections free and fair!
I was just notified by text that my ballot will be on the way. I like the new system we have here in MD. All I have to do is fill it out and drop it in the box down the street and then I get notified if it's been accepted and counted.
I love that you get texts! I'm going to have to see if that's a possibility here. I can track my ballot after I mail it, and I always feel good when I see that it's been accepted and counted.
