From a Frosty Sunday Morning

I was up early on Sunday morning and got to observe some things that I don't ordinarily see.

I hope your weekend was a good one and your week is off to a good start!

  1. Beautiful pictures Bonny! I don't believe we had frost here (it was 39 when I got up). Soon though and after the first good frost, we can harvest our Gilfeather Turnips!!

  2. Wow, those shots of the fog over the water are just stunning! I was up early yesterday to run but did not see any frost. It was cold, though!

  3. Stunning photos, Bonny. It's such a treat to be up early enough to see the mist rising off the water. There was talk of possible frost here over the weekend, but it didn't happen . . . yet. I'm glad you got to see some autumn-magic. XO

  4. Gorgeous photos, Bonny! Wow! We had a bit of a frost on Sunday as well, but not nearly as stunning as yours was!

  5. Harbingers of the changing seasons, captured perfectly, Bonny. It can be a Zen experience to be awake and see things that you don't ordinarily see, at least for me. It creates a bit of a reality shift. These photos are magical. Do you see this view from your house?

  6. Beautiful photos! We had to leave early yesterday morning for some airport transport and there was a bit of frost on the windshield. Thankfully, my flowers are still okay!

  11. Oh, those misty photos... GORGEOUS!

Caught up. I love your "fishing" date with your fellas... I especially love that there were no fish and no one seemed to care! I hate hot peppers (dislike most peppers, actually). LOVE your Rainbow Hitchhiker!! I'm looking forward to reading The Marriage Portrait -- Hamnet was great, but I was disappointed in another of Maggie O'Farrell's books (didn't finish/returned), so I'm happy to hear good reports about this one. Glad you enjoyed your "late-summer vacation"! Cannot wait to see your house with freshly painted blue shutters!! Happy belated birthday to Ryan! I finished my NC 500 walk -- in Inverness (official start/finish) -- and received my medal the other day; doubt I'll do another. Can't really beat that one!
