Unraveled Wednesday

Joining Kat and the rest of the Unravelers for Unraveled Wednesday.

You've seen some of these projects and photos before, but beginning yesterday, they're part of something new - The 100 Day Project. I've never participated before, but have enjoyed seeing Vicki's results, and something finally dawned on me. I've certainly got time this year, and I want to have something to show for it when all of this is over. So 100 Days of Hitchhikers it is.

I've also gathered a few bits of focus, enough to finish several books: The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Calling on Dragons, and Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead. I've got two books in the works, but my attention is a fleeting thing, so I'm not sure what I'll actually settle into reading next. We'll see!

What are you making, reading, and/or doing to get through this week?

  1. I do love all your hitchhikers Bonny. You've chosen some special and beautiful yarns.

I see you gave "Plow" 4 stars...I've had a hard time with it and it's about to flow back over the airwaves. I've only read just under half of it and just can't seem to really sink into it.

  9. This is a great project for this time. Good thinking, Bonny. I have been staying busy in the kitchen a lot, baking bread, etc. I find doing these kinds of things is a good way to stay busy and productive. I also have been reading like my life depends on it, but then again, reading has always been my thing more than anything else. I pet my yarn every day, but I haven't worked on anything lately. No yarn focus. I look forward to seeing progress over the next 100 days!

  10. I'm chugging away on my socks - liking my one section at a time on each sock plan. Finishing The World That We Knew this afternoon (after it was snatched back 2 weeks ago!) and where I'll go next I have no idea! Those Hitchhikers are fabulous and I can't wait to watch you get. em. done!

  11. What a great idea to have 100 days of Hitchhikers. I do love that pink one but then the bright colors with the latest one is full of fun and energy. And I like the others too. I'm working away on the shawl for my daughter because my shoulder likes it much better than pushing the stitches of the gray sweater. I think I'd like to read Drive your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead because the title is so intriguing. I have picked up and put down a couple of mysteries which usually stand me in good stead. Eventually I'll land on some page.

  12. Why am I not surprised? This is perfect for you and I'm excited to see how many Hitchhikers you complete over 100 days. I'm also joining in for the first time, seeing as I don't have much else to do when I'm not "at work"!
