On the deer mural that covers one wall,
I tried to recreate the lovely display on the kitchen wall, but it just wasn't the same.
Here's hoping you get to enjoy a light, bright, and colorful weekend.
Striving to be highly reasonable, even in the face of unreasonableness. Reading, knitting, and some alcohol may help.
The sun today is so welcome after the gloomy week! It's almost like Old Man Winter is glad it is Friday too! Have an amazing weekend Bonny!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I have a lot of the Swarovski snow flake ornaments (we get them every Christmas at work) hanging in my kitchen windows. At certain times of the year, the morning sun is perfect for sending prisms of rainbows all over the room. Maestro (the cat we had before Tyg) used to jump up the wall trying to catch them.
ReplyDeleteIt is (chilly but) beautiful out. and tomorrow is supposed to be nice as well. Enjoy the weekend Bonny!
Just goes to show you, beauty is everywhere, but you have to look for it sometimes. The weather here is GORGEOUS! It won't last, as it is going to rain and get colder, but today it is perfect. High 50's, sunshine, blue skies, and now you have shared your rainbows with me. Here's hoping you get a slice of good weather this weekend and have a mindful, peaceful weekend full of gratitude. Happy weekending, Bonny!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear about your gorgeous weather! We have plenty of welcome sunshine, but it's still deceptively chilly and only about 35. I'm sure there is still plenty of winter weather ahead, but it is definitely a real treat to see sun (and rainbows) at the end of January. Thank you for the lovely weekend wishes, and I wish the same for you!
DeleteThe sun brings out the best in everything, but the rainbows in a prism benefit most of all. Happy Weekend, Bonny!
ReplyDeleteAwww. Rainbows are always welcome
ReplyDeleteIt's the "little" things that can bring so much joy to a day.
ReplyDeleteI love the pot that holds your Christmas cactus.
You are so good at finding little things to enjoy and write about. If Friday counts as part of the weekend, I had a good start. My dear sis drove over so we could go to lunch and explore a new local yarn shop. We had a nice day together.
ReplyDeleteA simple but beautiful gift of a rainbow everywhere!
ReplyDeleteyou are delightful! Isn't it amazing how a simple thing can turn out to be a wonderful blog post?
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely & colorful surprise!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! What a wonderful surprise . . . to walk into a room and find it filled with rainbows!
ReplyDeleteWe have two stained glass windows in our master bathroom. I LOVE it when the sun shines through and creates color-reflections everywhere. XO
Bonny, so very sorry to hear of your fathers passing. BIg hugs.
