... is a day to appreciate my sister's photos.
She took these lovely sunrise and sunset photos and I was happy that she shared them. I told her that I thought the snow made them even better by providing contrast, but she wasn't buying it. Maybe because she had had to clear their driveway herself (because her husband was out for 39 hours plowing).
Speaking of snow, we got more on Sunday.
And there is quite a bit more predicted later this week - tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday. Oh, goody!
I hope your Monday is off to a good start, with a rosy sunrise, and no snow in the forecast!
Those photos are beautiful! We are in an unsettled weather pattern, too. The snow we got yesterday is very pretty but I'm not looking forward to heading out the door in the cold.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are beautiful shots! We are expecting more snow as well this week. Usually it's in January when we get in this cycle of cold and a bit of snow every day, but I guess this year we're doing it in February. I will have to really bundle up for my walks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise! Wow! (but this snow... it is getting weary. I confess, I am wishing for a AC-style switch that will miraculously bring spring on the 24th!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Bonny! I'm keeping my eye on the weather as I have to go to the office on Thursday - we have 3 VP candidates coming in for interviews....hope it will not be awful getting in! Yesterday's snow was beautiful and (per Fletch) so light and fluffy!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos, Bonny! The snow machine has finally turned on here in Michigan (it's finally cold enough to bring lake effect), but NOTHING like what you're dealing with. Hoping that your weather forecast is wrong, and also hoping for an early(ish) spring all around. XO
ReplyDeleteSo much for all those forecasts that we would have a warm winter, huh? It is very cold, wet, and gray here, and will be for the foreseeable future, but I don't have all that snow, so I am not going to complain. While snow is beautiful, it is a pain, fingers crossed you don't get anymore this week. I hope you (and your sister) get a break, Bonny. Whatever happens, both of us just need to roll with it and have a good week anyway. Hot cocoa, anyone?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such beautiful photos! I like the reminder that winter can be beautiful! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie! Our temperatures are in the 20s today, but I think your weather is much colder and snowier. Stay warm in your neck of the woods, too!
Deletewhat a great sister you have and thank you for sharing them with me :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Bonny ... but I have to ask - is the snow really almost up to the street lamp in that last one?! yikes!! There are snowflakes in our seven day forecast. Spring isn't here yet (even in Georgia)!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos from your sister. Thank you for sharing them. Plenty of snow on the ground here and bitter cold. I made some warm cookies.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely pictures. We have snow in the mountains here, but none to speak of in the valley. We need more. Temps in the 50s here. Seems more like spring. Hoping we get some snow or we could be in trouble water-wise next summer. Have a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteNo snow in our forecast, to speak of, but bitter bitter cold. Brrrr. The car thermometer registered 10F in the garage this morning, and read -10F by the time I got to work. Wind chill, yadda yadda.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Bonny! We've got snow coming today...maybe you had it yesterday?
