... is the day to wait in line at the post office to mail Ryan's presents.
Wish me luck with the water meter and the post office. I hope your Monday is a good one!
(And be sure to check in tomorrow when Kym, Carole, and I reveal the next Read With Us book selection. I'm excited to tell you about it!)
GOOD LUCK!!! I hate those "no longer than" phrases....
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Yikes, what a Monday!
ReplyDeleteHope that hour is indeed true.
ReplyDeleteOur town has been replacing meters, too, and it's usually a very fast and simple process. I hope that is your experience!
ReplyDeletewe had an amazon return at ups drop off site so that's how I shipped. Hopefully it gets where it's supposed to go!
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like a real Monday's Monday! I hope the post office line was short and the water shut-off time is less than predicted! XO
ReplyDeleteGood luck with mailing your boxes and that water heater, I mailed last Friday, so glad it is all done. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThere was no line at my post office so I count myself pretty lucky! It feels good to have things mailed, so now I can focus on the rest of the knitting I'd like to get done. I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.
DeleteI hope your trip to the post office was quick, but your water restoration was quicker! This is a lot to do on a Monday during the pandemic, but just think, you will have it over with so you can enjoy the rest of your week. Have a great Monday, Bonny!
ReplyDeleteOh we are alike. I got 9 paackages ready and brought my knitting to work on while I planned to wait in the car. I was so lucky . NO ONE was in the post office but the clerk! Overyjoyed! When I was leaving 9 cars were pulling in. I never mail this early, but I was afraid I'd run out of time due to delays with all the COVID caused increases in people who are shipping. Phew. I feel so relieved
ReplyDeleteSheesh, water work on a Monday sounds like a circle of hell! At least it sounds like your post office trip was without hassle, and I hope the USPS sends that package directly to its recipient. (My yarn dyer friend sent me a package on Friday that decided to go on a tour of the state and visit Harrisburg and Lancaster before heading my way -- in other words, go the opposite direction!)
