I’m happy to join Kat and the Unravelers today with more of the kitchen towel. I know it's not exciting knitting, so I tried to take some slightly different photos.
Justin and Jess have been with John this week, fishing in the Blackfoot River in Montana, so I've been checking on their cats. It's fine but it's honestly been a lot of driving to go down to their house, check on the automatic feeders to make sure they're not blocked (they always are), clean the litterboxes, water plants, collect mail and packages, put the trash out, etc. ....
What are you making this last Wednesday in June?

Aw, look at sweet Nugget and her dainty white feet! That is a lot of cotton knitting for a towel. I'm sure however many you finish will be well used, but maybe set your expectations low, just in case.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of that towel and it is really getting long!! Kudus to you for knitting that - after one dishcloth my hands hurt!! Nugget is adorable. When I watch Talbot for C&M I go over twice a day...but it's a lot closer than you have to go. And no automatic feeders for Talbot - he'd empty them...plus, he only gets wet food (too many teeth are gone!).
ReplyDeleteThe towel looks great, but that is a LOT of knitting! I love the texture. I think two would be a great gift.
ReplyDeleteLove little Nugget. I'm sure she likes having someone to be with for a while.
I love that towel, Bonny, but it is a lot of knitting. I bet it is great summer knitting. Nugget obviously cooperated for treats, but she is giving you the stink eye just to let you know she was not fooled! You are a wonderful mother to do all that driving to check on the cats. It's a shame they don't have a trusted neighbor to do that.
