Sailors did need to take warning as it was a rainy, dreary day yesterday, but it sure started out in a beautiful way. I was glad to be up to appreciate all the colors of the sunrise before the gray gloom set in.
I hope your weekend is full of good things, whether they are sunrises, sunsets, or good times in between!
What a gorgeous picture Bonny!! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, Bonny! That is just stunning! Because of the way my house is situated (on a hill and facing west), I see the sunset every night . . . but I never see the sunrise! (Sometimes I see a morning glow in the sky, but that's about it.) (Well. About those sunsets . . . not actually every night. Sometimes - like in January - it's just too cloudy and gloomy to SEE the sunset . . . ) XO
ReplyDeleteWow, Bonny! That is amazing! (we have a weekend of snow/rain mix on tap, sigh)
ReplyDeletegorgeous moment!! I see morning skies since I'm on dog duty early in the AM, I love it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know I'm not the only one who still remembers that old rhyme! Fortunately we are not sailors, so we can enjoy the stunning red skies.
ReplyDeleteI love all the sunrises, even the red ones! Happy Weekend, Bonny!
ReplyDeleteThe winter sunrises and sunsets seem more spectacular to me. Maybe it is the tilt of the earth and the light or maybe it is just the contrast with the winter landscape. Have a good weekend.
