I’m happy to join Kat and the Unravelers today with (you guessed it) kitchen towels. Now there are two of them. The blue one is done (but not washed yet).
I've cast on for the green one and it's in progress.
I still have quite a ways to go on the green one, but it really is comfortable summer knitting. I may even finish it by next week (and then cast on yet another one).
What are you making this Wednesday in July?

Those really are pretty Bonny! I think Ryan will be very pleased! I have a small sock finish (ugh).
ReplyDeleteI would be very happy to have such lovely dishtowels in my kitchen! How much yarn does one of them take? I've got a charity hat in progress and need to cast on a second sock for my current pair. But I also want to finish my current "turtle" on my spindle before we go home.
ReplyDeleteThese are great, Bonny. I would never have believed that knitted dishcloths would be this pretty, but they are. Your third color of yarn is my favorite, so get cracking! If I were Ryan, I would hesitate to use them. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat blue towel is gorgeous... but the GREEN! Oh my! I love that color! (and I see your yard is reaching that "summer dried out" look that mine has...)
ReplyDeleteRyan's a lucky guy -- those are lovely and useful!
ReplyDeleteI think those are GREAT towels. I love the way they are turning out -- and they look so perfect hanging on your clothesline like that. I'll bet Ryan will love them. It's a real treat when we stumble onto an ideal summer project. So glad you found one! XO
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! You are the 2nd person this week that I've seen knitting dish towels. I may need to check out the pattern.
