along with some other interesting food. (That's macaroni and cheese pizza.)
I enjoyed Fort Collins, just like I always do.
Now that I'm back in NJ, I've done loads of laundry, cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed, re-stocked the pantry, returned books to the library, and paid oodles of bills. Today I'm heading to MD to do the same things all over again in a different location. I hope your week is off to a good and productive start!
===============
Please join me here tomorrow for our second Read With Us book discussion post of Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. I'll be continuing the discussion where Kym left off last week, talking about the middle third of the book, specifically Chapters 6-11. I hope you'll join in!
Glad to hear it was an enjoyable and successful trip. How was that mac & cheese pizza? I just showed the photo to my daughter and she was a bit disgusted by the idea. Also, is that a rabbit drawn in balsamic vinegar or am I just projecting?
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Ryan on the new car! And good on you for helping him find one and then celebrating! I dunno about that pizza, I think the texture might throw me off. Welcome back, hope the reentry in MD goes smoothly, too.
ReplyDeleteDon't you think there should be little travel elves . . . to take care of all that stuff when we're traveling . . . so it's easier to get back in step with our lives when we return??? I'm so glad you were able to get back to Fort Collins and help Ryan recover -- and find a new car. It must have been very comforting -- for both of you. That mac-and-cheese pizza, though??? I think I'd be tempted to eat the mac-and-cheese with a fork, saving the crust for last. (How was it, by the way?) Welcome back. XO
ReplyDeleteNow I’m thinking about how to make a gluten free Mac and cheese pizza!
ReplyDeleteI like Ryan's new-to-him car. I hope it is reliable and safe. I'm not much into cars, but I love reliable and safe transportation. When you get through with MD, you can come down here and do the same things here! Bonny, what a bummer to have to keep 2 houses clean. I just had never thought about that before today. You are a TROOPER. So, how was that mac and cheese pizza? Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI've been to that bistro! I hope the pizza was delicious because that's one sinful eat right there! Taking a positive spin on the housework...you're moving and grooving! Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteI noticed the rabbit too!
ReplyDeleteGood eye on the rabbit! The place is called The Welsh Rabbit Bistro, so they always draw a rabbit in balsamic vinegar in the olive oil.
Deleteglad he has a new car and may they have many years together incident free! Welcome back to the east coast where the weather is getting colder and fingers crossed I see a snowflake and not rain.
ReplyDeleteFriends have plans to move to Fort collins as soon as they sell their wisconsin home. I'll miss them but they will love it there. Mac and cheese pizza. That would put me in the hospital in no time. !!! I wish I could enjoy Wisconsins plethora of cheeses
ReplyDeleteThey will love Fort Collins (but maybe not the mac& cheese pizza)!
DeleteWelcome home (times2). So glad you got out there and could hug)help Ryan. Not sure about that pizza though....do tell how it was.
ReplyDeleteWell done to you and Ryan!! And, I am with Vera - welcome home x2! I am eager to continue the discussion tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHooray for a new safe and reliable vehicle. I recognize that street in Fort Collins. We lived in Cheyenne, Wyo for three years and often drove to Fort Collins for fun. Hopefully you will be caught up soon. It is nice to go see our children and nice to be home and back to the regular routine. Boy do I have a grandson who would love Mac and Cheese pizza.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were able to be with Ryan and get him settled (safely) into a new vehicle AND enjoy some of Ft Collins. and welcome back (home?)!! looking forward to tomorrow's discussion!
ReplyDeleteRyan's "new" car looks a lot like my "new" car. They are the perfect cars for the Rocky Mountains! Your food pictures always kill me! yum!
ReplyDeleteWell done on all fronts...mac n cheese....hmmm. Might have to try that.
ReplyDeleteCheers~
So glad it was a successful (and delicious!) trip!
