Fixing Things

When I drive to Ryan's house in Pennsylvania, I see lots of campaign signs, many of them for crazy Republican candidates. Mastriano is currently a PA senator for the poor 33rd district and he is running for governor. He is also currently suing the Jan. 6th committee over whether they can compel his deposition. He doesn't want his run for governor to be "improperly influenced", but Mastriano helped organize efforts in PA to submit alternate presidential electors beholden to Trump.

Mehmet Oz is campaigning to be a PA senator, even though his primary residence is in New Jersey. He's a celebrity doctor, appearing on Oprah and promoting quack pseudoscience. His opponent, John Fetterman, had a stroke several months ago and has just returned to the campaign trail. When Fetterman declined to debate Oz, Oz taunted him about his recovery

Mastriano and Oz are people who do not respect the Constitution, do not believe in the rule of law, have no respect for the will of the people, and refuse to accept the results of a free and fair election. They do not respect women and their rights. These signs seem to be growing in number and size, and they irk me every time I pass them.

There, I fixed them.

  2. PERFECT!!!!! I have seen so many signs for Mastriano, it is scary...none for Oz, but I don't live in that district (thank goodness).

  3. Oh my word! We attended a family wedding in Gettysburg this weekend. I thought northern Michigan was bad, but Pa. appears to be totally brainwashed. And the scary, narrow minded religious signs and billboards.....don't get me started. Yours is the perfect edit.

  4. I wish you could fix people's lack of curiosity about these folks before election day as easily. I hate it that name recognition gets people elected without any further information about their platform or beliefs! I like to think if voters actually knew what they were like, they would not vote for them, but that may be a delusion on my part. I hate election signs. I wish they would outlaw them.

  8. I like your fixes! I haven't seen any Mastriano signs in my neck of the woods, but there are few Oz signs. Lots and lots of Shapiro and Fetterman signs around here, though!

  10. Aww... what no crudités with this post? Dr. NO would be so disappointed!

I am voting for Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman... two men who work hard every day for the people of PA!
