The garden is coming along nicely, and I spied something worthy of an Eye Candy Friday photo.
It's a baby snow pea pod!
There are a few other pods along with plenty of pea flowers, and tomato blossoms. Not something I'm going to cut for a bouquet, but I think it's equally as pretty as flowers.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Baby pea pod! We have some very tiny grape tomatoes growing, but I think it will be a while yet before we can eat any. Still, it's fun to go out and check on them every day.
ReplyDeleteYum!! And, I love pea flowers - they are so beautiful when they fill a garden space! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteooohhh, one of my favorite shades of green - and one of my favorite summer-time vegetables. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI love snow peas!! Well I like any kind of peas. have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I hope to get over to our garden soon and see how the peas are progressing. I'm the harvester and that won't happen this year. Hope Smith will take the time to bring a few home when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! Fletch has been picking sugar snap peas daily - and we had some last night in a stir fry. Delicious!! I love seeing peas in blossom.
ReplyDeleteThe hope of something wonderful to come!
ReplyDeleteI love snow peas! And the flowers are lovely. I hope your garden continues to thrive, sans groundhog.
ReplyDeleteOne of the great signs of summer!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree (along with ripe tomatoes)!
DeleteI think the edibles are beautiful. Nothing tastes like veggies from your own garden! I didn't plan an edible garden but I ended up making sugared flowers yesterday. Sugared lilacs
