Unraveled Wednesday

Joining Kat and friends for Unraveled Wednesday.

Ta-da! At long last, I've finally finished Ryan's birthday fingerless mitts.

Even though they're late, I still think he'll enjoy them.

I've learned my lesson, and in a few days when the yarn arrives, I'll be starting on his Christmas fingerless mitts.

What are you making and reading this week?

  1. Hooray for finishing them! I am suddenly finding myself with a bunch of WIPs -- a sweater for me, a shawl, a pair of socks, and a swatch for a pattern submission -- and another sweater to cast on soon.

  2. So nice! :-) I love the stripes, and especially the way they match his plaid shirt so well. I've decided to knit a few gifts this year, myself. I'd love to know about that pattern for fingerless mitts . . . for a couple of guys on my list. ;-)

  3. Beautiful! And, yes, the perfect match! (and I love that knitting bag too!)

I am focused and determined to get blanket number two assembled and finished! :)

  5. The mitts and shirt are the perfect man gift! I am knitting chickens as gifts. I'll see how the first one turns out and go from there. The plan is for a full flock for a friend (and singles for one or two others). :)

  6. Love those mitts Bonny (and the shirt too!). What pattern is it? I may have to make some for gifts as well...thinking of my little brother and his wife for Christmas. Congratulations on a great finish!

  7. This is a great gift Bonny! I'm interested in the pattern too. My favorite Coloradan part-time dog walker could probably put a pair to good use!

  11. Hooray for a finished pair of mitts. I am going to make two of my young grandson some fingerless mitts - out of some very washable yarn. After watching them play outdoors, the mitts seem like a good idea. You are inspiring me as always.
