Fall is just barely beginning to show its changes in the trees and woods.
I admired a gorgeous hydrangea paniculata on the grounds.
And we spent lots of time sitting quietly, looking for deer.
Can you see the deer in this photo? |
It's a little easier to spot Justin in this one. |
It was a truly lovely weekend, and I hope yours included plenty of nature, beauty, and family.
Oh, good for you! It looks like you had wonderful weather! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful setting. I love spur of the moment trips. Glad it was such a nice weekend for you.
ReplyDeleteYes! I spy a deer!! What a lovely get away -- extra special & fun when it's spur of the moment!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lovely weekend! Yes, I can see that deer keeping an eye on you. Hope your great weekend turns into a great week!
ReplyDeleteI see the deer! What a beautiful weekend it was! So happy that you got to spend time with Justin too. Beautiful shots Bonny!
ReplyDeleteHow great that you go to visit Justin! And yes, I see the deer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great weekend for you! I'm glad you took advantage of the opportunity. No, I don't see the deer, but I do not have the sharpest vision. Lovely photos, Bonny.
ReplyDeleteIf you look in the middle of the photo, right above the log, you'll see a whitish patch. That is the front of the doe's chest and you can see her head and ears directly above that. I know where the deer is and I still have some trouble spotting her!
DeleteFound her! Thanks, Bonny.
DeleteWhat a lovely weekend with some beautiful photos.
ReplyDeletethere is nothing like seeing a kid! So glad you were able to do it and take beautiful photos as well :) I am surrounded by family these past days and it's so different than my regular life :) :)
ReplyDeleteI see the deer you're speaking of in the above comment! Your pictures certainly show the beginnings of autumns glory. While we had snow on the mountain peaks the trees in the valley haven't gotten the memo. It won't be long before that changes, however.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos showing the true glory of the changing season, glad you had a lovely weekend.
