There were too many outstanding ones for me to choose between them, so you get a bunch. I've got four or five bulbs resting in my root cellar, but of course, I didn't label them, so they'll be a surprise. Now I'm anxious to get home and start them all!

Through the Years
I saved my amaryllis bulbs from last year, but haven't started any of them this year. I may do that this weekend when I'm once again in NJ, but for now, I'm taking a look back at some of the stellar floral displays from years past.

I don't think you had a bad one in the bunch!
ReplyDeleteYour Amaryllis are always show stoppers! I am excited to see how they do this year - plus, the surprise element will be so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThey are so gorgeous! I'm going to start the ones I bought for this year on Friday.
ReplyDeleteJust realizing that I never got an amaryllis for myself this year which is testimony to the pace of life these last few months. Your plants are just lovely
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Bonny! We've got a bloom ready to burst from a grocery store or Wal-Mart purchase and another bought on line just starting to grow. Love the surprises!
ReplyDeleteSo MAGICAL! Every one! XO
ReplyDeleteAll are beautiful and so unique! You must show us which ones you have this year - what a lovely surprise that will be!
ReplyDeleteWow, you really have had a lot of striking flowers from these bulbs. It will be great to see what they do this year.
ReplyDeleteStellar for sure! Looking forward to the surprise from the ones in the cellar...
ReplyDeleteAll the WOWs, Bonny and thank you so much for sharing! I always aim for late January blooms and I might've overshot this year (the stalks don't even need stakes so far) so it's lovely to start seeing blooms (even from years past) pop up elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. Flowers in January are a breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteTruly gorgeous! I love the idea of surprise!
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a display of gorgeous blossoms! I adore my amaryllis every year and I've had one or the other blooming for the last 5 months. The current one has three stalks and all are the same height and everything is in full bloom. It looks like your fourth picture down (red and white). I have a bright orange one (Naranga-I love her!) and another I'm not sure what color it will be (I've forgotten what I bought). It's exciting to have something beautiful to distract me from the weather.
