Sometimes Monday ...

... brings good news!

Since an important part of science is reproducibility, I intend to take plenty of naps and test these results myself. Hope your week is off to a good start, and maybe even includes a nap or two.

  2. I could definitely use a nap but if I did I would not sleep at night at all!!

  3. Naps are a wonderful thing! (It's too bad there are so many "nap deniers" out there . . . )

  4. Napping is one of my habits! I love to nap and come from a family of nappers. One of my disappointments with work is not being able to nap after lunch - lol. (so far no luck with a nap room at my office)

  5. I actually hope my week doesn't include naps - the only time I can take a nap is when I'm sick! So you can have one of mine. :-)

  6. Yeah!! I love taking naps. It's not as regular an occurrence as I'd like, but I do what I can... for my health!! ;)

  9. My husband takes a nap every day after lunch. I have not been a napper much in my life, but the other day I decided to take a nap when he did. Nirvana! I may have to figure out how to work more of those naps into my day. Happy Napping, Bonny, and have a wonderful week. Spring is coming soon, I think.

  10. Doug is all set! I haven't napped in years (though I was extremely good at it before Dan!) but as retirement approaches I may have to re-introduce that habit. (Nap dreams can be crazy though!)

  11. My mom napped EVERY Afternoon. I remember coming home from half day kindergarten and she made me lay down and take a nap...because SHE needed her nap. I think she was so wise. I often take a good nap. My blood pressure at one time was high, but once I lost weight, I didn't have hypertension anymore. At one point when I worked night shift, I would nap all week even on the days I was off. My phone recording actually said, "Hi this is Kathy . IF you are calling between 1 and 3 I am taking my nap. Please leave me a message and I'll get back to you!"

    1. You sound like you have napping down to a finely-honed art and I love your message! I hadn't napped in a long time, but yesterday's rainy and foggy weather combined with the stress of driving down to MD created the perfect conditions for a lovely afternoon nap. Of course, then I couldn't sleep last night ...

  12. sadly, my Monday has not included a nap. my Sunday did, however, and I'm positive it helped my mental, physical and emotional states :-) (Holly approved as well.)

  13. Very interesting. I am not much of a napper unless I am sick or really tired. Maybe I should reconsider.
