The sawed-off fence post has found a new location |
Some totes have been emptied, the rest have been consolidated into a smaller area, and now there is a bear reclining on the top of the pile. |
Justin did restore a tiny antique oil can ... |
... and a vintage knife sharpener. |
And I replaced our old router that died, with a little frustration, but no swearing. |
I also got to see the emergence of a bud stalk on one of my amaryllis. |
Well, that IS progress! Enjoy a lovely spring day, Bonny. It's so nice to be able to get outside - comfortably - again! XO
ReplyDeleteI hope you gave Justin a to-do list for this week. Maybe he can lighten the load for you in NJ? Yeah, spring! It actually got to 70 here yesterday, and it was sunny, so glorious! The rest of the week, beginning today is more rain, every day. No complaints, just saying. I hope you and yours are staying safe and avoiding coronavirus. We finally have our first diagnosed case here, so it will be interesting to see how this goes. I need to know the story of that fence post someday if you can tell it. Happy Monday, Bonny.
ReplyDeleteThis weather... it is just glorious! (and I love that amaryllis start! WOW!!)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like some good progress! Enjoy today's weather! We won't be quite that warm here but close to it and I'm thrilled.
ReplyDeleteOoof. I could have used that extra hour, too!! I'm enjoying the "Mystery of the Sawed-off Fence Post"!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here in Colorado has been warm and sunny and we were out enjoying it. Though I call this the 'phoney spring' , March is our snowiest month and we have yet to see any this March. Enjoying the sun while I can!
ReplyDeleteLove the tiny oil can, the knife sharpener and the bear! I'll wait to pass judgment on the fence post till I learn more about it - lol. Hope you picked up your new yarn and hope you can get outside today to enjoy the warmth!!
ReplyDeleteProgress is always a good thing (and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who could have used that extra hour)! Enjoy the sunshine today!
ReplyDeleteForward progress. I've noticed with Smith that he can take forever to do something, but he pecks away at it little by little until the project is done. Maybe that's Justin's MO, too. At least you have a new router! That job usually takes a phone call (or two) AND some swearing.
ReplyDeleteJustin's additions to your decor are certainly good conversation pieces ;-) I said goodbye to my amaryllis last week - the bloom were all spent and then the remaining stalks just seemed to lose interest in standing up, even with stakes. I'll be glad to see your blooms grow!
ReplyDeleteYour life is busy with going to two locations! Love that he is settling in and you see the progress. Have fun with taxes :)
ReplyDeleteI think the fence post is a fine piece! It would actually go beautifully in my home as well! Glad to se you've got another bloom to look forward to...we've moved on to tulips! (On sale!)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the warm sunny day. Our weekend was unseasonably warm but the wind blew an absolute gale. Sounds like Justin is settling in and making some progress with unpacking. If you replaced a router without any swearing, you deserve a medal - or maybe a new skein of yarn.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh we had rain, glad you had sun and warmth! I love the knife sharpener ! Im with Jane, you deserve new yarn!
