Probable Error?
Nope. Pulmonary Embolism.
I didn't mean to come home from Colorado, write one post, and then take more time off, but that's what bilateral blood clots in my lungs have dictated I need to do. Intense shortness of breath and racing heart rate sent me to the hospital in Elkton yesterday afternoon, and I'm writing this from my hospital bed Tuesday morning. I only got about two hours of sleep last night, so I'd love to go home tonight, but my morning heparin and blood pressure meds are two hours late, so we'll see.
I'm going to take a break from the blog for a while but hope to be back soon and healthy.
Oh my goodness! I'm so glad you are okay!
ReplyDeleteOh Bonny! So sorry. Glad you are ok and do take care of yourself. We'll be here when you are ready to come back to blogging.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Bonny!! Sending you all the healing thoughts and lifting you in prayer. And, love... so much love. Be better soon!
ReplyDeleteBonny, I am so sorry to hear this, but so glad to hear that you are in the hospital and getting treatment. Yes, please take all the time you need to get better, and I will eagerly await to see you here on the blog again when you are feeling back to your old self. Take good care, and get plenty of rest.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Bonny! Sending strong, healing thoughts. and so very grateful you're getting the care and rest you need. We'll miss you in this space, and look forward to seeing you back here soon. Take care, my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBonny! I'm so sorry to hear this. After spending this past week having tests in the hospital and looking at that same screen I have a feeling for what you're going through. Thankfully they doctors can help you and I wish you the very best and lots of rest and relaxation!
ReplyDeleteDearest Bonny! you are in my daily prayers but I will do a booster signal! My nephew (25 yo) had a blod clot from a flight (Seattle to Pittsburgh). Egad!! I hope you are home soon and I'm glad you didn't die too :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I always take an aspirin before we fly anywhere. Im so sorry you have a clot. Take good care. We will hear from you when you are better!! hugs
ReplyDeleteThat's just what the dr. said might have helped me! Of course, I'm anticoagulated now and not allowed to fly for six months, but you certainly have the right idea!
DeleteSending you well wishes. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Helen! Your well wishes and those from others are really helping!

ReplyDeleteDo take care! Now I'm thinking about what to do differently in my flight home in a few days...
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you are experiencing this. My husband has had three of them, not at the same time thank goodness. You are very lucky to be here, rest and get better.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm sorry about your husband's PEs and hope there are definitely no more in his future.
