Three on Thursday
Joining Carole and friends for Three on Thursday, today with amaryllis from past years. My current ones are growing slowly, which makes me happy since that way I'll have blossoms in January or February. While I wait patiently, here are three I found in my photo files.
And a bonus photo of some dramatic buds.
Head on over to Carole's for more Three on Thursday.

I agree that it is best that yours grow slowly so that they bloom in the bleakest part of winter. You have a lot of pleasure to look forward to if the above blooms are any indication. I hope they are glorious this year.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteooohhh pretty! seems like a few of us are postponing blooms til the new year - so a post full of them today is a welcome surprise!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful motivator for patience! Slow but steady growth here...and these photos make me so happy!

ReplyDeleteThose photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI envy your green thumb! Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun to see blossoms of any kind in December while the grey skies loom large over us right now
ReplyDeleteWe have had great skies for days, and now we're starting 4" of rain (better than snow!), so that's why I was looking through old amaryllis photos to cheer me up!
DeleteOh I love these photos, especially on the eve of the shortest day of light during the year.
ReplyDeleteThey are AMAZING!! Mine are just starting to come through-one or two of them are about 6" or so. I think it will be end of January or beginning of February (as planned!). Yours are just LOVELY!!
