I found the fawns and there are two of them! I expected the family to head to the woods after a few weeks,
but they seem to like the area.
(I thought about the family while I was reading Bambi, and will probably call the fawns Gino and Gurri since I've started Bambi's Children.)
I was just thinking about the deer yesterday and wondering if you had seen them again. Thanks for the update, they are SO cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet - all of them! I love that this wise momma has selected such a perfect yard to give her babies a good start! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh - they are so cute. We haven't seen as many as we normally do...maybe because one of the neighbors put up a high fence...but I miss seeing them for sure. Thanks for the great pictures.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful creatures! I have a mama and her fawn visit my neighborhood every evening from the nearby woods.
ReplyDeleteOh so cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable and I'm really enjoying their visits!
DeleteHow wonderful to have that family with you this summer. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteTWO! How fun, how wonderful!! They look so graceful and sweet.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see deer in my neighborhood (which is pretty much . . . daily), I think about you and your fawn(s). So glad they're hanging around (although I know they are probably wreaking havoc with local gardens). XO
ReplyDeleteOh they are so cute, will have to show your photos to the children in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying their visits, and don't even mind very much that they've been munching on lots of my plants and flowers!
DeleteSuch sweetness, and such kindness on your part for simply enjoying their company. This is how the world should be, thank you.
ReplyDeleteoh yes - what wonderful news that they're alive and (apparently?!) thriving! that momma chose well to stick close to your house!
ReplyDeletemy deer are hiding out in the woods being elusive. So I'm glad you are sharing your deer with me :)
