Visit Ryan in Fort Collins. Sadly, this one is already over.- Visit Justin at Mainframe Whitetails. Gladly, I still have this one to look forward to.
- Scrape, sand, prime, and paint the front porch. I don't really want to do this, but it is a necessity.
- Read enough to cover all the squares on my Book Bingo card.
- Finally finish knitting the Hitchhikers that I've started. (Also, the pair of socks I started long, long ago.)
- Don't feel guilty about time spent reading and knitting.
- Spend a minimum amount of time sitting in hospital waiting rooms. Hopefully, much of this will be done after Thursday, but on the plus side, it does provide plenty of time to work on numbers 4 and 5.
- Really, seriously, intently, purposefully clean out my yarn stash. The amount of yarn in that closet has been weighing on me for too long. I want the yarn in my stash to make me feel happy!
- Grill something new for dinner - pineapple, peaches, romaine, plantains, zucchini, pizza...
- Eat from the garden as much as possible. This one is easy, as I'm already happily inundated with spinach, lettuce, and snow peas. Next up will be beans and tomatoes. Mmm, fresh, red, ripe tomatoes!
Striving to be highly reasonable, even in the face of unreasonableness. Reading, knitting, and some alcohol may help.

Ten on Tuesday - Sum Sum Summertime
This week's Ten on Tuesday topic is 10 Things On Your Summer 2015 Bucket List. I honestly haven't thought too much about what I want to do this summer, so this is a good place to start.

Your garden looks wonderful!!! I am also going to really, seriously, intently, and purposefully clean out my yarn stash. I didn't include it on my list, but it's there all the same. Looming. (What are you going to do with the yarn that doesn't make you happy?)
ReplyDeleteHere's to #6! And it would be so nice to sit on your porch and knit - scraped and painted or not!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be nice if our list didn't always include chores and things we don't really enjoy?! I love to grill, it's one thing I'll really miss since we've moved from a house to an apartment.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your garden is gorgeous. Ours is a hodge-podge, but full of goodness nonetheless. I could incorporate most of your list into my bucket list, sub front porch for planting front plot. #4,5,&6 are most important on your list!
ReplyDeleteI think summer should be a guilt free zone! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI like the "don't feel guilty about reading and knitting". I know that feeling. Wonderful list.
ReplyDeleteOoo, I forgot about Book Bingo. My goal is to do it reading books from my bookshelf, ones that I bought but didn't read because I had to finish the books from the library. For the past xx years.
ReplyDeleteOnce I figure out Book bingo I may join you! Love your thoughts
ReplyDeleteyour garden is amazing... wish you lived close enough to help me accomplish my #2 and #3 - bread salad and caprese salad (but only if you love them as much as I do!). and my best wishes that the hospital waiting room time decreases. and that you find other ways to get in plenty of reading and knitting time. HAPPY SUMMER!
ReplyDeletelove your list and you should never ever ever ever feel guilty for knitting and reading, it's good for the soul.
